Megan thee Stallion has received a restraining order against her label after they allegedly attempted to “harm” her career. This weekend is the 2022 American Music Awards and she feels they would sabotage her career and she basically wants nothing to do with them. She says 1501 took steps “to block or interfere with Pete exploiting, licensing, or publishing her music” in the actual nomination to the AMAs. Megan “provided evidence” that the Houston-based label “recently engaged and will continue to engage in threatening and retaliatory behavior that will irreparably harm” her career. Voting for the awards show ended on Monday night, while the ceremony itself takes place at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater this Sunday. Another hearing on Megan’s restraining order request has been set for November 22.
