Brooklyn Nets NBA star Kyrie Irving was asked by the media after his first game back on Sunday. Kyrie is a hero of sorts to the culture for standing firm on what he believes in. The media kept asking Kyrie what he thought about the Hebrew Israelites defending him and Kyrie smartly only wanted to focus on the game when asked these questions over and over. It felt like they were harassing him but he handled it like a soldier. Irving kept his answers very general, saying, “I would like to be on a platform where I could openly share how I feel without being harshly criticized or being labeled or dealing with outside perceptions that have nothing to do with me.” Salute to this black man.
