To me this is great. Floyd Money Mayweather is looking to own an NBA team and is ready with the cash upfront. There have been talks of Vegas actually receiving a team for years now, which could be a option because this is where Floyd resides. Seattle is also a candidate for expansion, but it’s said to be years away because the NBA wants to negotiate its new television/media rights deals and a collective bargaining agreement before adding brand new teams and new players. There would definitely be extra excitement in Vegas if they received a basketball team. The Phoenix Suns are said to also be for sale.
