Shaq has been doing great with his investments, tv commercials, businesses and tv sports broadcasting but has feel short in one area. He has been uncomfortable with his weight. Like many other former athletes, Shaq has not been able to maintain this athletic dominant figure in retirement, but vows to change that. He spoke with press saying it is one of his concentrations now, which is very important. Shaq has a lot of reasons to celebrate as he says he has lost 40 pounds lately. One of his friends was very blunt with him. “A friend of mine called me and said, ‘You’re fat,’ and she gave me this guy’s name, and he did some blood work,” Shaq explained. “He was saying, ‘You can do this, you can’t do that, [eat] more vegetables, [your] iron’s low.’ Once I just started changing those certain things, it dropped. It’s all about eating right.” On a side note Shaq is still enjoying his life though as he was recently pushed into a Christmas tree in December on TNT while broadcasting a game with his good friend and co-host Kenny Smith. Shaq laid in the tree laughing for several minutes while his co-host continued to do his job announcing plays made by the NBA athletes in that particular game.
