MUSIC PROMOTERS FIGHTING ARTISTS?
Wild video footage has surfaced, showing a fight that broke out at a concert for upcoming Memphis rapper Finesse2Tymes in Missouri. Finesse was to perform at a club called BLVD Nights last Friday, but a fight happened ahead of his performance. The two men threw punches and ended up wrestling on the floor before other men pulled them apart off the stage. DJ Rocky Montana, was the promoter for the show and said it was him fighting in the video footage. The whole problem was the music promoter says the opening act for the show after the act went over their time limit. Montana said, “No, Finesse had not hit the stage yet. The altercation was between me and an opening artist. The artist (2) went over their stage time and didn’t want to leave the stage.” He explained everything to the publication XXL magazine. Finesse2tymes is a rapper from Memphis, Tennessee signed to Atlantic Records. He is known for his song with Gucci Mane and more and has a "thunderous voice" and motivational statements in his songs. His major label mixtape debut 90 Days was released on December 2, 2022.
WHO IS FINESSE2TYMES?
Finesse2Tymes is actually signed to fellow Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo's label Bread Gang. His real name is Ricky Hampton and on an Instagram video of a pair of diamond-encrusted handcuffs on his wrists. Finesse was released from prison two months ago after being arrested due to a federal weapons charge. He was sentenced in Arkansas to five years in prison on a federal weapons charge, which came after he was arrested with a gun a week before a shooting at an unrelated event at a Little Rock nightclub as well. In 2017, he was performing in Little Rock when the show was interrupted by a full-on gang shootout. In another incident, another shooting happened at another one of his shows which involved Jackie Netterville and Gino Mickens. They both had multiple outstanding felony warrants out of Florida. Netterville was on the run at the time of this report and the actual shooting happened around 2:30 in the morning. Police say a fight broke out before the shooting and involved Finessee and his security.
