IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME COMING

The rise of Michael B Jordan didn't come from him playing Kilmonger in the movie "Black Panther." It came from his journey starting out on "the Wire" as a child actor all the way up to now. Ice Cub once said, "if you aren't willing to put in at least five years before your career pops off you might as well stop." Michael B. Jordan has now become the latest celebrity to be gifted with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. His star was unveiled on Wednesday, just two days before the release of his new movie Creed III. Jonathan Majors was on deck at Jordan’s ceremony and gave a heartfelt tribute to the actor. He called Jordan "Michael B. Handsome" and said that Creed inspired him to get an Equinox membership.

Jordan, one of the most respected actors in Hollywood, has been acting professionally since he was only 12 years old. He didn't originally dream of becoming an actor at first though. In 2015, Jordan said his mother set his career in motion when she decided to take him to his first commercial audition. "It wasn't something that I always wanted to do. But like a lot of kids, you know, I didn't know what I wanted to be. Modeling, acting, it got me out of school early, got me a chance to go into the city, so I was all into that," he said. Lol. Anything to get out of school early. Since receiving success, he was even featured in Time's list of the 100 most influential people in the world. He started his own production company called Outlier Society and has been continuously working to promote inclusivity and increased representation in the world of contemporary cinema.

OH BOY, HERE COMES JOE BUDDEN

I used to listen to Joe Budden when he was on SoundCloud and I have seen his evolution as a podcaster. He is very outspoken and speaks his mind but sometimes he forgets about his own past. Joe Budden decided to call what Michael B Jordan said to reporter L'oreal corny but Twitter gave it right back to him and dissed Joe for his past issues with women as well..

Joe said "If any other Black multimillion embarrassed a woman on a red carpet cuz she thought he was corny in the 7th grade y'all would call him a lot more than corny," "Also I work for me [and] I'm not firing myself. I said what I said, get off my d**k. Love management."

"Dawg, you doing that to a girl is some corny-n***a s***t,"  Joe said in regard to the "corny" comment. "You being Michael B. Jordan, today, allegedly the sexiest man alive, all of these blockbuster movies, during your highlight week. You've probably never been more visible than you are right this second. And that's what you do to her? And if I bring back those White girl rumors, then it's gon' sound even crazier. Why you talking to our sisters like that on the red carpet when you don't talk to White b***hes like that?" But I'm not gon' make it race here," "They say I make everything race. That was corny of him to speak to that girl like that. Michael B. Jordan, that's why n****as call you corny. Hey, Creed. In case you was confused, that corny-a** s**t you did is why n***as think you corny. In case you were off a little bit." Ok, next.
