TIMES SQUARE KILLING

There are tons of underground rappers from the Bronx who have been making noise lately. Sha EK currently bangs out with songs like "Who You Touch", Kay Flock, B-Lovee, D-Thang, Murda B, DD Osama, TG Crippy, Yus Gz, Dougie B, and hundreds more, trust me. I admire their consistency and work ethic but not all of their gang-affiliated situations which puts them in trouble. Speaking of trouble, Bronx drill rapper Nas EBK has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Times Square last month which left somebody dead. 

Nas EBK, real name Nasir Valenzuela was arrested in New Jersey in connection to the murder of Idressa Siby. Nas EBK got into a heated argument with Siby in Times Square and Nas EBK allegedly shot Siby on the right side of his chest. Siby tried to run but later collapsed in front of a Chick-fil-A. EMT tried to revive Siby but he was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Nas EBK has been formally charged with murder in the second degree. Nas EBK posted on his  Instagram a photo saying “INNOCENT,” along with the caption: “ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME !!! BE HOME SOON!! FREE DA GUYS!!” I will say this before we get into this list, nobody comes back after a murder is committed, so think twice before committing that final crime and knuckle up instead. Don't be so definitive with your painful choice.

I thought it would be interesting to do a list of rappers currently sitting in the pen, not highlighting them as criminals but hopefully, they can correct their wrongs, and people on the outside can see that a life of crime is not the way to go. Free the Guys!!!!!! Jail may give you street cred, but NOBODY comes out saying it's the place to be. You have to constantly watch over your shoulder, get harassed by the C.O's, fight other prisoners, and get treated like sh*t as the free-world forgets about you. Even worse, oh.....your wifey usually won't wait for you (with a few exceptions.) Be prepared if this is your choice of life, but once again...FREETHEGUYS!!!!!

Dusty Locane - jailed in December 2022 after pleading guilty to two charges of criminal possession of a weapon

Casanova - Rico charges

42 Dugg - faces up to five years in prison, obstruction of law enforcement and battery in Las Vegas

Bankroll Freddie - conspiring to sell large amounts of marijuana and cocaine awaiting trial.

Tay-K - a robbery that left 21-year-old Ethan Walker dead.

Kay Flock - shooting which left one individual dead.

Sheff G - recently sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty in connection with a traffic stop arrest earlier this year, currently held in Rikers Island. 

BG - lost his freedom in 2009 when cops found a firearm during a routine traffic stop.

YNW Melly - accused of killing his friends Christopher “Juvy” Thomas Jr and Anthony “Sak” Williams

03 Greedo - drug and firearm charges

AR-AB - accused of turning his OBH label into a drug ring, 

Max B - a deadly hotel robbery, leaving one dead

G Dep - 1993 murder of John Henkel, turns himself in after almost a decade o feeling guilty

Young Thug - Rico charges

Suge Knight - (not a rapper) allegedly killed a man with his car at a video shoot
