SMH...HERE WE GO AGAIN

One thing I've personally learned in life is nothing is guaranteed. Friendship, closeness, and relationships they all unfortunately come and go. It's a part of life we have to accept. People outgrow each other and it's just a harsh reality. The almighty Dips are no exception to this rule. Jim Jones recently dropped an album called  "Back in My Prime." The album has no appearances from the Dipset squad and once again Jimmy spoke about his friendship with Cam’Ron on a song called “Status Update.”

It seems like the guys get together for performances and leave at this point. We all see how unorganized they were at Verzuz, causing them to lose the battle to one man with a raspy laugh (who took the competition very serious.) Jimmy appeared with Cam and the Dips with Drake for his show at the Apollo. However, Jim Jones noted he and Cam haven’t been on the same page. The rapper said, “And it’s hard for me & Cam to see eye-to-eye/ I love him, I still love him but when I see him, it’s like hi & bye,” “It’s kinda crazy, I thought it was ride or die.”

The first sign of trouble between Cam'ron and Jim Jones happened in May of 2007, when Miss Info revealed that the two were at odds following a phone call from Jones, who confirmed the rumors. “Me and Cam’ron haven’t spoken to each other in a year, Jones said. "I kept quiet out of loyalty, I felt like if we can’t be friends then at least we can do business together. But now I can’t be next to you... I’m through with being in hot water because of you. We still the Diplomats. We worked too hard to achieve our own success and now we’re gonna do something new." Jim Jones is a soldier for his squad and was even at Hot 97 in tears because of his admirable loyalty. SMH. We hope the squad can reunite and be tight as the LOX but we're not sure if that's going to happen.

IN CAM'RON NEWS...

Cam'ron posted on Instagram about the death of his mother explaining "IN 2007, my mom had a stroke leaving her partially paralyzed on her left side and a speech impediment,” he wrote in the caption. “If you followed her or was her friend on social media you would never know any of that. She was witty, funny, intelligent, sarcastic, and outspoken. People would say ‘Cam, I know you’re writing ya mom’s captions,’ and I wasn’t. I would see my mom’s captions and say, ‘Where are you learning this?’ (Lingo). She tells me, ‘Be easy lil homie.’ lol.” Cam thanked fans for all the love they showed his mom throughout the years, and made it clear the post was also a “thank-you” to all her supporters.

Cam'ron also has a sports talk show. “It Is What It Is” is a fun brand-new sports talk show which can be found on Youtube. In the first episode, he had Ma$e on there. Cam called out Ben Simmons for not averaging 10 points per game. Ma$e and Camron have a bet going in which Ben Simmons should score at least 10 points a game. Lol. “I just need my money. You a man of your word,” Mase told Cam, who was reluctant to pay up. “I just need my $1. You promised me I would get a dollar. Ben Simmons was not averaging 10 points per game.”

“Ben Simmons, at this point, you costing me money. I don’t know where you gonna go, but get the f–k out of New York,” the Come Home With Me rapper said. “Personally, we don’t want you around. You’re a disgrace.

“Philly, y’all are suckas for shipping him over to us. Y’all can take him. Personally, you f-cked your whole stock up. I don’t know anybody that want you, but you can leave New York, you costing me money.” Cam'ron told Simmons earlier in the year on Instagram “Look, I’m gonna be real brief and short, pause. Ben Simmons, stop wasting my n-ggas’ time. I’m dead f-cking serious. Stop playing with my n-ggas, man. You’ve got n-ggas playing two-on-f-cking-five out there. Stop playing with n-ggas, man.” “If you don’t want to f-cking play basketball, go to f-ck with the Kardashians, the Jenners, whoever the f-ck you with. Now when we watch it on TV it’s like, Oh it’s all good. I went to the f-cking game last night and I watched you shoot an airball layup.”
