THE HAITIAN DON
The beautiful thing about movies and portraying a character in a movie is you can be someone you are not in real life. You dig inside the human emotion if you are portraying a character already existing or you think about how a character would act, feel, smell, or even had for breakfast that morning. How many jail sentences has he done? Who threatened his life for him to protect his well-being in order to carry out a hit mafioso style. Well, get ready ladies and gentlemen because Kodak will be portraying a "Don" mafioso boss in a movie called The Don. Now I know, I know you probably are saying "Oh boy, everybody wants to do a movie," but the movie premiered at the Cannes festival which is a very big deal.
NEW YAK ALBUM
Kodak Black wrote on his social media accounts “PISTOLS & PEARLS – 5/26/23 THANX to EVERYONE THATS BEEN ON THIS JOURNEY WITH ME LUVIN & THUGGIN ! I COULDN'T FIND PEACE WITHOUT ALL THE VIOLENCE @atlanticrecords It’s Been Well,” He also shared the album’s cover art and tracklist. “Nothing But Gratitude & The Utmost Respect.”
Kodak Black's movie release will come out right alongside Kodak Black’s new album Pistolz & Pearlz. I tell you Kodak has always intrigued me ever since a kid dropping his first single "No Flocking" as a kid which can now be probably deemed as a classic song in the hip hop culture. If you know the Haitian culture, they are extreme, fun, misunderstood, and unfortunately picked on by American kids who didn't understand them as people. The different language of Creole, the poverty and pain which runs deep specifically in that culture mixed with his ambitions of being a "wild gremlin" just took him to the top. Haiti is literally right next door to the Dominican Republic and the characteristics of each culture to me are extremely similar. Wild and very outgoing people. Now I personally don't listen to all of Kodak Black's albums and like anyone, I have my personal favorite songs from Kodak Black's like "Mopstick" "SKRT" "ZEZE" "Drowning" "Tunnel Vision" and of course "Super Gremlin." There are more but too many to name. He drops music frequently and has a bunch of artists on his label Sniper Gang as well. Pistolz & Pearlz drops this Friday (May 26). I personally wish this guy continued success and hope he continues to stay out of trouble.
