Well while we are not sure who did it, police are suspecting a 32-year-old woman named Jessica Lynn Weeks of putting her dead newborn in a suitcase, then hididng the suitcase in a dog house. Deputies responded to a “suspicious circumstance” when it came to the situation. It was also reported in court documents the baby’s mother was Weeks and she “didn’t want to go to the hospital to deliver the baby due to her drug use." Things like this tend to bother me because it is totally unfair to the child being brought into this world.It didn;t ask to be here, but you torture the child and make the child suffer? Yeah, no bueno. Someone who was allegedly a friend of Weeks’, was there when she gave birth, trying to help her but she was negectfull. The man also said he spoke to a second person who had allegedly witnessed the baby inside the suitcase.

The baby was allegedly in a purple suitcase in a doghouse. The baby was wrapped in black plastic. He immediately left the area and “never went back. A search warrant was issued, and law enforcement arrived at the home, where they found Weeks and saw she had a warrant for her arrest and was taken into custody. Policeofficers noticed the “odor of decomposition” in the backyard, Detectives unzipped the suitcase, and saw a “blueish baby blanket” and “numerous types of insects,” inside of the skeletal remains of a newborn infant along with decomposing tissue. It is being reported Weeks was “not really showing any interest in the (baby) after the head came out.” The woman said she “felt what she wanted to believe was a pulse, but wasn’t sure.” Detectives went through Weeks phone and found text messages like“Idek wtf to do bro… and if they turn me in at the hospital, I’m f***** going to prison probably cuz I have warrants…” Weeks was booked into the Bannock County Jail with a bond of $50,000.
