Just days after trading flamboyant superstar Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns, setting off a firestorm of backlash from angry Giants fans, the franchise has signed his replacement in Golden Tate.
Tate is a veteran receiver with almost a decade in the game. He’s had multiple seasons of more than 90 catches. The receiver already has a Super Bowl championship on his resume, winning Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seattle Seahawks in his final year with the team.
Tate had a career year at the time with Seattle, catching 64 passes for 898 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 14.0 yards per catch for young Russell Wilson.
