We're not sure how much higher you can get on the totem pole than where Jay-Z is right now. After marrying one of the most beautiful women in the world, making tons of profitable investments, and having one of musics best catalogue of all time, I would say this guy is doing ok for himself.  Jay was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this weekend, by former President Barack Obama and comedian Dave Chappelle.

Did you know he is a 23-time Grammy winner?

Obama saying words like; "Today Jay-Z is one of the most renowned artists in history and an embodiment of the American dream, a dream he has helped make real for other young people like him."

"So let me be one of the first to welcome home the kid from Marcy houses ... as an official Rock and Roll Hall of Famer." Chappelle said "I'm honored that I got a chance to know you," "You embody Black excellence, how great we can be." "[We] were told hip-hop was a fad," Jay-Z said in his acceptance speech.

"Much like punk rock, it gave us this anti-culture, this subgenre. And there were heroes in it."

After the ceremony Jay tweeted on his socials, "Thank you to everyone in that video package, I'm definitely gonna cry in the car." Lol. Salute.

On a sidenote, LL Cool J was also inducted, I thought he was already in there because his catalogue is arguably as good as Jay-z's but he started wayyyyyyyyyy before Jay, so there was a difference in the current sound at the time. Salute to both.
