A federal appeals court has temporarily blocked President Biden’s student loan forgiveness program as it goes under review following an appeal from six GOP-led states. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit felt the program should be placed on hold while the appeals process starts. Not sure why, but The Hill reports that the "Biden administration must respond to the case before the appeals court by Monday evening." Under the current forgiveness plan, up to $10,000 in federal student loan debt would be canceled for borrowers earning less than $125,000 per year in addition to those who received Pell Grants potentially receiving up to $20,000 in relief. Why keep the country in debt? It just goes to show you America is truly a business.
